UNIDO's New Office in Ukraine: A Step Towards Recovery

The United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) is set to open an office in Ukraine to ensure effective management of post-war recovery projects.

This announcement was made by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs following a meeting between Deputy Minister Maryana Betza and UNIDO's senior coordinator for Ukraine, Stefan Sikars.

"We welcome UNIDO's plans to establish an office in Ukraine to facilitate project management, especially considering the urgent need for economic recovery in our country," emphasized Deputy Minister Betza.

During the meeting, both parties discussed UNIDO's program activities in Ukraine and cooperation on upcoming initiatives.

Betza noted the significant expansion of UNIDO's projects in recent years. She highlighted the organization's crucial role in the operational reconstruction of war-induced damages and in post-war recovery efforts.
