On October 26, Croatian Defense Minister Ivan Anusic arrived in Ukraine for an official visit. He announced that he would stay in Ukraine for two days. In Kyiv, he is scheduled to meet with his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal.
"I came to Kyiv to honor the bravery of the Ukrainian people, their soldiers, and all the victims of Russian aggression against Ukraine," the minister emphasized.
Anusic assured that Croatia will continue to provide humanitarian and military support to Ukraine.
"During the visit, I will discuss supporting the Ukrainian defense industry and cooperation between the Croatian and Ukrainian military sectors," he added.
It is worth noting that last year, Croatia supplied Ukraine with the DOK-ING MV-4 demining robot system. Throughout the ongoing war, Croatia has also provided helicopters Mi-8 and assisted in the rehabilitation of Ukrainian children and soldiers.
