According to reports, on July 3, Israel's Foreign Minister Gidon Sa'ar informed Ukrainian Ambassador Yevhen Korniichuk about the decision.
The minister instructed the National Agency for Israel's Humanitarian Assistance (MASHAV) to provide Ukraine with a package to ensure clean water supply to areas affected by Russian attacks.
The ministry clarified that funding for this assistance will be sourced from the Foreign Ministry's budget.
The package will comprise several water supply systems, each designed to serve tens of thousands of people.
The equipment is planned to be installed in eastern regions of Ukraine, where infrastructure has been damaged due to attacks from Russia.
The Foreign Ministry also reminded that Israel has been providing significant humanitarian support to Ukraine since the full-scale invasion began in February 2022.
This aid has included organizing food and medicine supplies, deploying a field hospital, and transferring hundreds of generators to affected regions in the first quarter of 2025.
