New Partnership for Drone Development in Ukraine
Today in Denmark, a memorandum was signed with CEO of Swift Beat, Eric Schmidt, to scale up the production of drone systems for Ukraine.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine via Telegram.
This memorandum marks a significant step towards our strategic goal: to achieve technological superiority on the battlefield and systematically enhance the capabilities of the Armed Forces in the air.
The memorandum includes:
- long-term partnership and priority supply of drones for Ukraine
- mass production of interceptor drones, quadcopters, and strike systems
- development of new solutions to counter cruise and ballistic missiles
We are talking about hundreds of thousands of drones by 2025, with production ramping up in 2026. In particular, a significant number of interceptor drones known as “Shaheds,” which have already proven their effectiveness in Ukraine.
Crucially: supplies will be made under special conditions at production cost.
The widespread use of drones has become one of the defining features of this war. To effectively protect our people, cities, and critical infrastructure, Ukraine is building its own “drone arsenals,” leveraging the potential of the world’s strongest manufacturers.
We are working to ensure that every unit has modern reconnaissance, surveillance, and strike capabilities, and that our defenders receive everything necessary for effective combat.
Thank you to the Swift Beat team for the partnership and readiness to move quickly. Thank you to all our partners who help Ukraine remain strong.
