Collaboration with Germany: New Opportunities for Kyiv
The Kyiv officials discussed the current situation in the city with German partners and expressed gratitude for the assistance received.
Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko met with a delegation from the Bavarian Parliament, led by its president Ilse Aigner.
"I informed our German partners about the current state of affairs in Kyiv. I explained how the city authorities are restoring infrastructure damaged by enemy attacks and providing residents with essential services. I emphasized the critical importance of continued support from partners in Ukraine's fight against the Russian aggressor," said Vitaliy Klitschko.
The Kyiv mayor also thanked the German friends for their comprehensive support and crucial assistance for the capital.
Since the onset of the full-scale war, Kyiv has received humanitarian aid from Bavaria, including a 20-ton truck and 6 special vehicles (3 modern Renault ambulances, a Ford minibus, a Mercedes fire truck, and an Iveco vehicle), which are now operational in the city's utility services.
Additionally, the capital received 11 BMW motorcycles for the Kyiv Patrol Police.
