Meeting Between Ukrainian Minister and Belgian Delegates

On June 9, Ukraine's Minister of Culture and Strategic Communications Mykola Tochitsky met with former Belgian federal deputy Georges Dalman and former Belgian diplomat Zenon Kowal.

The Minister expressed gratitude to the Belgian partners for their ongoing support of Ukraine and emphasized the importance of preserving historical memory as a foundation for sustainable European partnerships.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of Ukrainian-Belgian relations in culture and strategic communications. This included cooperation between the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in World War II and the Royal Army Museum in Brussels, the completion of the Holodomor-Genocide Museum in Kyiv, the continuation of joint exhibition initiatives, especially those related to the war, as well as the implementation of sanctions against Russians.

Additionally, they addressed several bilateral cultural initiatives, particularly in the context of the centenary of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Belgium.
