He added that the memorandum encompasses issues of security, economic development, Ukraine's recovery, and its integration into the EU, as well as the imposition of sanctions against Russia.
Additionally, a memorandum on cooperation in agriculture and the food industry was signed.
“The Czech Republic stands firmly with Ukraine. We are committed to supporting Ukraine's aspirations to join the EU and are working to create conditions that help Ukraine overcome obstacles on this path.
We have scheduled negotiations in the security sector, with representatives from the agricultural ministry and the banking sector present in the Czech delegation.
Ukraine represents a significant potential for us, and I hope we can focus on economic cooperation,” emphasized Fiala.
Petr Fiala also stated that this declaration summarizes the existing and future cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
“For the Czech government, Ukraine remains a priority, and we will continue to support it by all means. Currently, Ukraine is fighting not only for its security but also for the security of the entire European continent. We are proud of your bravery and are ready to stand by you,” he added.
