Zelensky's Visit to South Africa: Exploring New Collaborations

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in the Republic of South Africa for crucial discussions with President Cyril Ramaphosa.

According to a Telegram update, he stated: "We are preparing for significant meetings in South Africa with President Ramaphosa and representatives from various African communities. Our goal is to achieve a just peace. We are working to engage G20 nations in diplomatic efforts".

Moreover, Zelensky emphasized the importance of South Africa's involvement in global initiatives aimed at the return of Ukrainian children who were unlawfully taken by Russia during the full-scale war.

There are also scheduled meetings with political, community, and student leaders in South Africa, where the expansion of cultural and educational cooperation between Ukraine and African nations will be discussed.
