Extension of Visa-Free Transportation with the EU until 2025
The Ukrainian government has announced the extension of the "visa-free transportation" agreement with the European Union until the end of 2025.

Details: On Thursday, it became known that Ukraine's "visa-free transportation" with the EU has been extended until the end of the current year.
According to Shmyhal, Ukrainian road carriers will no longer require special permits.
He noted that this is already the fourth extension of the agreement, which demonstrates its success and effectiveness.
"Ukraine's export by road to the EU has increased by 42%, while imports have risen by 37%. The 'visa-free transportation' is part of Ukraine's sectoral integration into Europe and a prerequisite for our EU membership," he added.
It is important to note that the cargo transportation agreement signed on June 29, 2022, was one of the expressions of the EU's solidarity with Ukraine in response to Russia's full-scale invasion.
The agreement, informally known as "visa-free transportation," allows Ukrainian carriers to perform commercial routes to the EU under a simplified scheme, without quotas and individual permits that were previously required.
Additionally, Ukraine hopes that the EU will continue the existing trade liberalization mechanism, which is set to expire after June 5, until the end of 2025, until an alternative proposal is developed.
