Energy Supply Status in Ukraine as of February 11
As of the morning of February 11, due to Russian strikes, three regions of Ukraine remain without electricity supply. This was reported by the National Energy Company "Ukrenergo" on Facebook.
"As a result of combat operations and targeted enemy attacks on energy infrastructure – new outages have been reported in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions by this morning. Emergency recovery works are being carried out with safety requirements in mind. Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore damaged equipment as quickly as possible," the statement says.
It is noted that, due to the consequences of previous mass attacks, emergency power outages are being implemented in some regions. In the rest of the country, power limitation schedules for industries and hourly disconnection schedules for household consumers are in effect.
Electricity consumption as of 9:30 AM on Wednesday is 2.1% lower than the previous day due to the forced increase in the volume of power outages in certain areas.
"The need for energy conservation remains throughout the day. Please minimize the use of high-power appliances. If possible, shift energy-intensive processes to nighttime hours – after 11 PM," Ukrenergo advises.
As previously reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the most challenging energy situation remains in Kyiv – in the capital, over 1400 buildings are still without heat, and the government is initiating an increase in the volume of the heat package program.
