Tensions Rise in Pokrovsk: Latest Frontline Reports
In the northern region of Pokrovsk, intense clashes continue between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian invaders, who are attempting to storm Hryshyne from three different directions.
This was reported by the 7th Rapid Response Corps of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, along with a video showcasing their combat operations.
The operational situation within the 7th Corps' area of responsibility remains tense, the military emphasized.
Last week, Ukrainian troops eliminated and wounded 386 Russian invaders, nearly 25% more than the previous period.
Russians are trying to advance further in Pokrovsk, utilizing infantry assault groups supported by drones. Clashes are ongoing in specific areas of the northern part of the city.
As they accumulate in the northwest of Pokrovsk, the enemy is increasingly directing their infantry towards Hryshyne. Specifically, the Russians are attempting to assault the populated area from the east, north, and south, operating in small groups and trying to infiltrate between the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
On the frontline, 168 combat encounters between Ukrainian forces and Russian invaders were recorded over the past day.
