Successful Defense Against Drone Attacks: Latest Updates
Air defense forces effectively neutralized 156 out of 183 drones launched by Russian forces during the attack on Ukraine on the night of February 4.

Starting from 6 PM on Wednesday, February 4, the invaders struck Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea, along with 183 strike UAVs, including Shahed, "Herbera", "Italmas", and drones of other types from directions such as Bryansk, Oryol, Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and temporarily occupied Donetsk. Approximately 110 of the drones were of the Shahed type.
The aerial assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Preliminary data as of 8 AM on Thursday, February 5, indicates that the air defense managed to shoot down or suppress 156 enemy UAVs.
Hits by ballistic missiles and 22 strike drones were recorded at 16 locations, and debris from shot-down UAVs fell at 7 locations.
