The Armed Forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized 50 out of 80 drones that were used to attack Ukraine on the evening of December 9. This information was shared by the Air Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces via Telegram.
According to the message, starting from 6 PM on December 9, the aggressors launched an attack with 80 strike UAVs, including Shahed and other types, from directions such as Kursk, Primorsk-Akhtarsk, Millerovo (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea), with around 50 of them being Shahed drones.
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9 AM on December 10, preliminary data indicated that air defense had shot down 50 drones in southern and eastern Ukraine.
29 strikes were recorded at seven locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
During the night of December 10, a Russian drone struck a civilian object in the Korjukivka district of Chernihiv region, causing a fire.
