Air Defense Forces Neutralize Enemy Drones and Missiles
The air defense forces successfully neutralized 405 drones and 14 missiles launched by Russian forces at Ukraine on the evening of November 13. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Since 6 PM on Thursday, November 13, Russia has carried out a combined strike on critical infrastructure in Ukraine using strike drones, missiles from air, ground, and sea.
The radio engineering troops of the Air Forces detected and accompanied 449 aerial targets – 19 missiles (of which 13 were ‘ballistic’) and 430 drones of various types (about 300 Shahed):
- 430 strike drones of the Shahed type, ‘Gerbera’ (other types) from directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Hvardijske (temporarily occupied Crimea);
- 3 air-launched ballistic missiles X-47M2 ‘Kinzhal’ (from the Ryazan region - RF);
- 1 anti-ship missile ‘Tsirkon’;
- 6 cruise missiles ‘Iskander-K/Caliber’ (from TOT AR Crimea/Black Sea area);
- 9 ballistic missiles ‘Iskander-M/KN-23’ (from the Bryansk region).
The main direction of the attack was Kyiv. Russian attacks were also recorded in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Poltava, and Cherkasy regions.
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, EW units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9:30 AM on Friday, November 14, the air defense had shot down/suppressed 419 aerial targets:
- 405 enemy drones of the Shahed type and other types;
- 2 air-launched ballistic missiles X-47M2 ‘Kinzhal’;
- 6 ballistic missiles ‘Iskander-M/KN-23’;
- 6 cruise missiles ‘Iskander-K/Caliber’.
Hits of missiles and 23 strike drones were recorded at 13 locations, as well as the debris of downed targets at 44 locations.
The Air Forces warn that the attack on Ukraine continues, with new groups of enemy drones detected in the airspace.
