Russian Forces Launch New Offensive on Ukraine
During the night of November 2, Ukraine's air defense forces successfully neutralized one air-launched ballistic missile Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" and 115 drones used in the attack on the country. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 7 PM on Sunday, November 2, Russian forces launched an assault on Ukraine using three Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" missiles from the Lipetsk region, four Iskander-M ballistic missiles from temporarily occupied Crimea, and five S-300/S-400 guided missiles from the Kursk region. Additionally, 138 strike UAVs were deployed, including Shahed, "Herbera" and others, originating from various directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk. Approximately 80 of these were Shahed drones.
The response to the attack involved aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary reports by 8:30 AM on Monday, November 3, air defense has downed one Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" missile and 115 UAVs in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Missile strikes and 20 strike UAVs were recorded at 11 locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
