The Ukrainian defense forces neutralized 206 out of 223 drones used for the attack on the country on the evening of October 31. This was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 6:30 PM on Friday, October 31, the Russian aggressors launched 223 strike drones of the Shahed type and other models from various directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsk-Akhtarsk (RF), and Gvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea). About 140 of them were Shahed-type drones.
The air attack was successfully repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
As of 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 1, preliminary data indicates that the air defense forces shot down/neutralized 206 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Seventeen strike drones were recorded hitting seven locations.
In the Poltava region, a fire broke out at a gas extraction facility due to the Russian attack.
