The air defense forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized 103 out of 118 drones launched by Russian invaders during the night of October 11-12. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
During the night, the enemy executed an attack using 118 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various mimic drones launched from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as from the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea. Approximately 50 of these were Shahed drones, along with an X-31 guided missile from the occupied Zaporizhzhia region.
The attack was countered by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 09:00, preliminary data indicates that 103 enemy UAVs have been shot down or suppressed in the northern, eastern, and southern parts of the country.
One missile and 15 strike UAVs were confirmed hits at 10 locations.
"The attack continues – new groups of strike UAVs have entered from the north and east. Please adhere to safety measures!" the Air Force added.
