On the evening of October 5th, Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 83 out of 116 drones launched by the aggressor. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 8:00 PM on Sunday, October 5th, the invaders launched an attack utilizing 116 drones, including Shahed and 'Gerbera' types, from various directions such as Millerovo, Kursk, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Hvardijske (temporarily occupied Crimea).
The aerial assault was countered by aviation, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems, along with mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM on Monday, October 6th, air defense had downed or suppressed 83 drones in the north, south, east, and central Ukraine.
30 attack drones were confirmed to have hit seven locations. The assault continues, with several enemy drones remaining in the airspace.
