The air defense forces have neutralized 23 out of 32 Russian drones. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
On the evening of Sunday, September 28, the Russians launched an attack with 32 strike UAVs, including the Shahed and other types, from the directions of Bryansk, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. About 20 of these were Shahed drones.
The air assault was countered by aviation, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Preliminary data as of 09:00 on Monday, September 29, shows that the air defense shot down/neutralized 23 UAVs, including Shahed and other types, in northern and eastern Ukraine.
Nine strikes by UAVs were recorded at 8 locations. The attack continues—new groups of strike UAVs have been reported in the north and east, according to the Air Forces.
