In the village of Shandryholove in the Donetsk region, Russian soldiers launched a brutal attack on civilians, killing an entire family and abducting a girl. This was reported by the Third Army Corps on social media.
"In the area of responsibility of our corps, near Shandryholove, the invaders killed a family and took a girl hostage. The enemy is using her as a human shield to cover their troops during the advance towards Lyman," the official statement reads.
Intercepted radio communications revealed that prior to the assault, a commander with the call sign "Bali" ordered the extermination of civilians, urging quick action and to "kill without discrimination".
The occupiers stormed a residential building and shot the child's parents. They kidnapped the girl, continuing their offensive to avoid fire directed at them.
This war crime was recorded by our corps' units. All interceptions indicate that the actions of the Russians were premeditated, emphasized the Third Army Corps.
