Drone Strike in Kyiv: Disruptions in Transport Services

On September 19, a Russian drone strike in Kyiv resulted in damage to the connection with the telecommunications network operator. This has led to potential issues with card payments and ticket validation at the stations for the rapid tram and funicular.

This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration via their Telegram channel.

The official website of the municipal enterprise "Kyivpastrans" is currently unavailable.

If payment or validation is not functioning at the turnstiles, passengers are advised to validate their tickets inside the trams.

Experts from the enterprise and the telecommunications operator are working diligently to restore stable service operation.

During the attack, debris was reported to have fallen in the Solomianskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, damaging the trolleybus network.
