Ukrainian Air Defense Neutralizes 60 Out of 84 Russian Drones

The Ukrainian air defense forces have neutralized 60 out of 84 Russian drones that targeted the country.

This information was shared by the Ukrainian Air Force Command via social media.

Starting from 7 PM on Monday, September 8, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 84 strike UAVs, including Shahed, «Gerbera», and other types of drones coming from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, with over 50 being Shahed drones.

Various branches, including aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, actively engaged in countering the air assault.

As of 8:30 AM on Tuesday, September 9, it is reported that air defense has shot down/neutralized 60 drones of various types in the north, south, and east of the country, with confirmed strikes on 23 UAVs at 10 different locations.
