New Attack on Energy Infrastructure in Kyiv Region

A new attack on an energy facility has occurred in the Kyiv region, reported the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.

This assault is part of Russia's aggressive actions against the Ukrainian energy system, targeting a thermal generation facility.

“The aim of the attack is clear – to create further difficulties for the civilian population of Ukraine, cutting off their electricity and heat, including hospitals, kindergartens, and schools. Generation facilities and supply infrastructure are not military targets. The enemy understands that they are striking critical civilian infrastructure,” emphasized the Ministry of Energy.

Rescue workers and energy specialists are currently addressing the aftermath of the attack.

“We are doing everything possible to stabilize the situation as quickly as we can,” assured the ministry, promising to provide additional updates regarding changes in energy supply.
