Successful Defense: Over 100 Enemy Drones Neutralized

The Ukrainian air defense forces have successfully neutralized more than one hundred enemy drones during a recent assault.

On Sunday, September 7, at 10 PM, Russian forces launched 142 drones, including Shahed and 'Gerbera' types, from various directions such as Bryansk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). Over one hundred of these were Shahed drones. The attack was repelled using aviation, anti-aircraft missile systems, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups. According to preliminary reports, as of 8:30 AM on Monday, September 8, 112 enemy drones of Shahed, 'Gerbera,' and other types were downed in the north, south, east, and central Ukraine. Hits were recorded from 26 drones across seven locations, with debris falling on one site. Several enemy drones are still airborne as the attack continues.
