Kyiv Under Assault: Latest Updates from the Night Attack
Kyiv: latest updates on the night attack from Russia. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Kyiv.
As a result of the massive assault, 2 people have died, and 18 others are injured.
In the Svyatoshyn district, several high-rise buildings have been damaged: a fire broke out from the 6th to the 9th floors of a nine-story building, while other buildings experienced fires on their upper floors. Additionally, a hangar and several vehicles were destroyed.
In the Darnytsia district, a four-story residential building was hit, resulting in fires on two floors and partial destruction.
The fires have been localized, and emergency rescue operations are ongoing.
Later, the State Emergency Service confirmed that the death toll from the Russian drone and missile strike on Kyiv had risen to two. Another 18 individuals were injured. In the Svyatoshyn district, firefighting efforts continue in the partially destroyed nine-story building. Aviation of the State Emergency Service is also involved in the response.
