Drone Attack: Latest Data on Downed Targets
The air defense forces have successfully neutralized 430 enemy drones, 14 "Kalibr" missiles, and seven X-101 missiles.
This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
Since 4 PM on Tuesday, September 2, Russian forces have been attacking Ukraine using strike UAVs and missiles.
In total, the radio-technical units detected and tracked 526 aerial threats:
- 502 strike UAVs of the Shahed type and various other drones from the directions of: Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea);
- 16 "Kalibr" missiles from the Black Sea area;
- eight X-101 missiles from the airspace of the Saratov region and Krasnodar Krai.
Air force and anti-aircraft units, alongside mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces, participated in repelling the air assault.
As of 9 AM on Wednesday, September 3, air defense has downed 451 aerial targets:
- 430 Shahed-type UAVs and various imitator drones;
- 14 "Kalibrs";
- seven X-101 missiles.
Impacts of three missiles and 69 strike UAVs were recorded at 14 locations, with debris falling at 14 different sites.
The Air Forces warned that the attack is ongoing, and there are still enemy UAVs in the airspace.
