The Ukrainian air defense successfully neutralized 120 out of 150 Russian drones during a recent aerial attack.
This was announced by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their Telegram channel.
On Monday, September 1, at 7:00 PM, Russian forces launched an attack with 150 Shahed drones and various imitation drones from the directions of Kursk, Bryansk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea).
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 AM on Tuesday, September 2, the air defense shot down/neutralized 120 Shahed drones and imitation drones in the north, south, east, and center of Ukraine.
There were 30 hits recorded from the strike drones on 9 locations, as well as debris falling at 5 different sites.
