Successful Defense: Air Defense Forces Neutralize Most Enemy Drones

During a nighttime assault on August 31, Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 76 out of 86 enemy drones.

The Russian military launched the attack at 8:30 PM, deploying 86 Shahed drones and other UAVs from various directions, including Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as from Hvardiyiske (temporarily occupied Crimea).

The attack was repelled thanks to the efforts of the aviation, surface-to-air missile troops, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and unmanned systems of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 9:00 AM on September 1, preliminary data indicates that air defense has shot down 76 Shahed drones and other types in the northern, southern, eastern, and central regions of Ukraine.
