In the early hours of Friday, defense forces successfully neutralized 46 Russian drones attempting to attack Ukraine, with 22 drones hitting nine locations.
This information has been confirmed by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via social media.
According to available data, starting from the evening of August 28, the enemy launched a total of 68 Shahed-type drones and their imitators from various cities, including Kursk and Bryansk.
The attack was repelled thanks to the efforts of aviation, anti-aircraft systems, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups.
Preliminary reports indicate that by 08:00 on Friday, 46 drones were neutralized in the northern and eastern regions of Ukraine.
Impact from 22 enemy drones was recorded in the Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
