Night Air Defense: Ukrainian Forces Neutralize Enemy Drones

During the night of August 24, the defense forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized 48 enemy drones and recorded several hits from Russian drones and a ballistic missile.

This was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine via Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

According to military sources, from 10 PM on Saturday, August 23, Russian forces launched one Iskander-M ballistic missile and 72 drones, including strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitators.

The missile was launched from the area of Taganrog, while the drones were deployed from Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk.

The enemy attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine's defense forces.

By 8:30 AM on Sunday, August 24, air defense had downed or jammed 48 Russian Shahed-type drones and imitators across the northern, eastern, and southern regions of Ukraine.

At ten locations, hits from the missile and 24 enemy drones were recorded.
