During the night of August 23, Russian forces targeted KonoTop in the Sumy region. The attack resulted in damage to residential buildings and local infrastructure.
This was reported by the city mayor Artem Semenikhin via Telegram.
"We had three strikes overnight. Preliminary reports indicate no casualties, but information is being verified," he stated.
Semenikhin mentioned that there were minor damages from the strikes, and a response team began work at 8:00 AM to address the aftermath.
"The Russians targeted already destroyed infrastructure. There remains a high risk of additional strikes over the next 48 hours. Hostile reconnaissance drones are likely in operation," the mayor added.
