Tragic Aftermath of Attack on Lviv
Following the latest assault by Russian forces in Lviv, there are sadly confirmed casualties and injuries, along with extensive damage to buildings.
This information was shared by the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovyi, on his social media accounts.
"It was an exceptionally loud night in Lviv. The enemy launched a combined attack using drones and missiles. This time, the street affected was Oleni Stepanivny", - noted the mayor.
The explosions caused damage to numerous residential buildings, including windows and roofs. All emergency services are currently on-site. Additionally, the mayor emphasized reports of fires breaking out in other areas.
"We are forming a commission to address emergency situations", - added Sadovyi.
Maxim Kozytskyi, the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, confirmed that one person has died and two have been injured due to the Russian combined attack.
"According to preliminary reports, as a result of the combined strike by drones and cruise missiles in Lviv, one person has died, and two others have been injured. Many residential buildings have been damaged", - he stated.
As Sadovyi noted in a Telegram message, "it has been confirmed that one person is deceased. Two are injured. One man is in critical condition, currently in surgery".
The other injured individual has chest and leg injuries, and their condition is moderate. Doctors are conducting further examinations, Sadovyi emphasized.
