In the night of August 10, Ukraine's air defense successfully repelled an attack involving 100 drones, with 70 being destroyed.
This information was provided by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to reports, early Sunday morning, Russian troops launched a significant assault, deploying 100 strike drones of the "Shahed" type and other models. The launches occurred from Russian territory and the temporarily occupied Crimea.
To counter the attack, aviation, anti-aircraft missile systems, and electronic warfare units were engaged.
As of 08:00, the destruction of 70 drones in the northern and eastern parts of Ukraine has been confirmed.
Additionally, 30 drones were reported to have hit 12 populated areas in Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions.
