On the evening of August 7, the enemy launched a significant attack on Ukraine using 104 Shahed drones, various imitation UAVs, and 8 high-speed aircraft. While 82 targets were aimed at, a considerable number were neutralized, but some still hit their marks.
This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Telegram.
According to Air Forces: "As of 8:00, our air defense forces have shot down 82 aerial objects: 3 jet drones and 79 enemy Shahed UAVs and imitation drones. Hits were recorded in 26 instances across 10 different locations, with debris falling in 8 areas."
The aggressors launched their drones from the territories of Russian cities such as Shatalovo, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as from Cape Chauda, located in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The air strike was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
