The Ukrainian armed forces have successfully targeted an oil refinery in Afipsky, confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the report from the General Staff,
"The Afipsky oil refinery in the Krasnodar region has been hit. Its annual processing volume is 6.25 million tons, which accounts for 2.1% of Russia's total oil refining capacity".
The drone strike resulted in a fire at the facility, affecting the gas and gas condensate processing units.
This operation was carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and drone units of the Armed Forces.
The General Staff also reported that several other critical targets in Russia have been attacked, with results under assessment.
Quote from the General Staff:
"Strikes on the enemy's military infrastructure will continue until the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is completely halted. The defense forces are systematically using all legal means to stop the criminal actions of the Kremlin regime aimed at destroying the Ukrainian people".
