On the evening of August 4, Ukraine faced a significant assault from Russian forces, utilizing a ballistic missile "Iskander-M" alongside 46 Shahed drones and various decoy UAVs. While 29 drones were neutralized, some did manage to strike their targets.
This information was shared by the Ukrainian Air Forces via Telegram.
According to the Air Forces: "As of 08:00, our air defense has intercepted 29 enemy UAVs in the northern and eastern regions of the country.
Recorded impacts include 17 drones in the east, 1 ballistic missile, and debris from downed drones in three locations in the southern and northeastern directions."
Details: It was noted that the invaders launched drones from the Russian cities of Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, while the missile was fired from the Bryansk region of the Russian Federation.
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, UAV systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
