On the night of July 30, Russia launched an attack involving 78 Shahed drones, including various imitation UAVs. 51 of these drones were neutralized, but there were also confirmed hits.
This information was reported by the Air Forces of Ukraine.
According to the Air Forces: "As of 09:00, air defense has downed/neutralized 51 enemy drones in the northern and eastern regions. Hits from 27 drones were recorded at 7 locations, with debris falling at 2 sites".
The invaders began launching drones at 22:30 (July 29) from various directions: Orel, Kursk, and Hvardiske - temporarily occupied Crimea. The Air Forces noted that the night attack featured the use of up to 8 reactive drones in the northern direction. Defense was conducted by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of defense forces.
