Severely ill and injured defenders are coming home. We can now discuss the details – throughout all stages of the recent Istanbul agreements, more than 1000 of our people have been successfully returned. For thousands of families, it is a joy to embrace their loved ones again. Thank you to everyone who worked on this.
The warriors returning today defended Ukraine across various fronts. Many have been in captivity for over three years. Everyone will receive the necessary support and medical assistance.
It is important that exchanges continue and our people are coming back home. Thank you to everyone who is continuing this crucial work. Bringing all of our people back is a priority for the state. We will continue all efforts to ensure that our people return from captivity.
