Nighttime Russian Strikes on Kyiv: Casualties and Damage
A massive nighttime strike on Kyiv has resulted in 2 fatalities and 13 injuries.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
Residential buildings, offices, and industrial sites have suffered damage.
Shevchenkivskyi District – several high-rise residential and office buildings were damaged. Fires erupted on roofs, balconies, and technical floors. There are casualties.
Solomianskyi District – fires engulfed administrative and warehouse buildings. Cleanup efforts are ongoing in one of the structures.
Darnytskyi District – debris fell onto the territory of a garage cooperative. The fire has been extinguished, and no casualties were reported.
Podilskyi, Obolon, Desnyanskyi Districts – debris falls and infrastructure damage have been recorded. There are fatalities in the Podilskyi District.
All services are operating at an increased capacity. Approximately 400 rescuers and 90 units of equipment are engaged in the cleanup efforts, alongside explosives experts conducting area surveys for hazardous materials.
