Following a nighttime missile and drone assault by the Russian Federation on the city of Smila in Cherkasy, the number of injured has risen to 11, including two children.
This was reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Igor Taburets.
"According to preliminary data, three missiles and eight drones were recorded falling within the city limits. The enemy specifically targeted civilian infrastructure," he noted.
In Smila, three nine-story buildings, private homes, and vehicles have been severely damaged. At least four educational institutions and a psychiatric hospital have been affected. The educational building of the National University of Food Technologies was almost completely destroyed, where a graduation ceremony for junior bachelors took place the day before.
At dawn on June 29, the Cherkasy military administration reported three injured individuals and the "consequences for civilian infrastructure" due to the Russian attacks.
