According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as of Tuesday evening, the massive attack by Russian forces on June 17 has resulted in the confirmed deaths of 12 individuals: 10 in Kyiv and 2 in Odesa.
"As of 5:30 PM, 12 people have died due to nighttime Russian strikes. Among them, 10 are from Kyiv, and 2 were rescued from the rubble in Odesa. Unfortunately, information is often subject to revision, as during rescue operations, body parts may be found that are initially recorded as separate fatalities. Final confirmation is provided by forensic experts after analysis in a mobile DNA laboratory. – stated Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko
The minister noted that rescuers and police continue to work at the sites of the strikes on residential infrastructure.
Rescue operations are ongoing at two locations in Kyiv. There are still people trapped under the debris, so the efforts will not cease until all are found, – assured Klymenko.
