Casualties Rise in Zaporizhzhia Following Night Attack

The number of injuries from the nighttime attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 4, all of whom have been hospitalized, along with damage to at least 20 residential buildings.

"The bombardment began at 2 AM, marking the first wave of "Shahed" drones launched by the enemy at Zaporizhzhia. The second wave occurred around 3:30 AM. At least 8 drones struck the streets of Zaporizhzhia," said the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

Sadly, the injured include 4 people, among them two police officers, as well as a 62-year-old woman with a leg fracture and a 74-year-old woman with contusions."

According to Fedorov, at least 20 high-rise buildings and 2 private homes were damaged as a result of the attack.

Additionally, a humanitarian aid warehouse was completely destroyed, with fire suppression efforts lasting over 7 hours.

It is worth noting that on the night of June 14, Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with 14 kamikaze drones of the "Shahed" type. Earlier reports indicated that two law enforcement officers and a woman were injured, with damage to civilian infrastructure and vehicles.

Also, in Zaporizhzhia, a warehouse containing humanitarian aid was destroyed due to the Russian attack – no less than a hundred tons.
