On the evening of June 12, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 4 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 55 Shahed drones, along with other unmanned aerial vehicles; 43 targets were neutralized, but there were also 9 impacts.
As of 09:00, our air defense had shot down 43 enemy Shahed drones (other types of UAVs) in the north, east, and south of the country. 28 were destroyed by fire, and 15 were lost due to electronic warfare, reported the Air Forces of Ukraine.
It has been reported that the invaders attacked the Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

The occupiers launched drones from Russian cities of Millerovo, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, while ballistic missiles were fired from the Voronezh and Rostov regions of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that the air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
