In Ukraine, a new phase of repatriation efforts has concluded, resulting in the return of 1212 fallen defenders.
Among those returned 'on shields' were heroes from:
Kharkiv region;
Luhansk region;
Donetsk region;
Zaporizhia region;
Kherson region;
Sumy region.
Based on the results of collaborative work among various state institutions, the fallen were handed over to the relevant authorities dealing with military personnel issues. This includes cooperation with the Coordination Headquarters, the Security Service of Ukraine, and other security sector structures.
We express our sincere gratitude to the International Committee of the Red Cross for their support.
Special thanks to the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for transporting repatriated heroes to designated state institutions and for transferring the deceased to law enforcement for further investigation. Law enforcement agencies, along with experts, will promptly identify the deceased.
