Kyiv Airstrike: Impact and Response
On the night of Tuesday, June 10, Kyiv experienced a significant airstrike from Russian occupying forces.
This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Tkachenko, and the city's mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko.
Airstrike on Kyiv: Key Information
In the capital, several incidents occurred due to the falling debris of enemy missiles across various districts. As of 05:58, according to Mayor Klitschko, the number of injured had risen to four, all of whom were hospitalized.
At 05:12, Tkachenko noted that damage had been recorded in seven districts, including multi-storey buildings. Fires also broke out in several vehicles and storage facilities.
At 04:17, a fire erupted in a residential building in the Solomyanskyi district. In the Podilskyi district, drone debris fell in two locations, Klitschko reported.
At 04:02, the mayor warned of a fire in a business center in the Shevchenkivskyi district and alerted that missiles were also heading toward Kyiv.
At 03:48, the mayor informed that one injured person was hospitalized in the Obolon district, while another received on-site assistance in the Darnytsia district.
Around 03:25, the Kyiv City Military Administration provided operational updates on the damage:
- Darnytsia district: fire in a non-residential building; damage to a residential building; debris from the drone fell in a green zone; partial destruction in non-residential areas.
- Obolon district: damage to two floors of a residential building; fire in an office building.
- Holosiivskyi district: drone debris fell on a non-residential building.
- Desnianskyi district: a car caught fire due to debris from the downed drone.
- Shevchenkivskyi district: fire in a residential building.
- Podilskyi district: damage to non-residential premises.
Currently, efforts to address the aftermath of the attack are ongoing in the capital. Rescue workers, emergency services, and city officials are actively responding at the scene.
