Kyiv Under Attack: Consequences of June 6 Assault

On the night of June 6, Kyiv was once again targeted by a combined assault from the aggressor. Due to the falling debris and impacts, buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure were damaged. Three people lost their lives, and 20 were injured.

Details: As of 5:00 AM, according to KMVA, damage was reported in at least six districts of the capital.

In the Solomianskyi district, a fire broke out in a metal hangar covering an area of about 500 square meters. Firefighters are working to extinguish the blaze. A fire also occurred on the 11th floor of a 16-story residential building. Thanks to prompt action, three individuals were rescued. The fire has been extinguished.

In the Darnytskyi district, debris from downed targets was recorded in at least three locations. Two vehicles were damaged.

In the Holosiivskyi district, a fire erupted at a civilian infrastructure facility, and efforts to extinguish it are ongoing. An educational institution has been damaged. Parts of downed targets fell near a gas station, damaging a vehicle. Debris also landed in a non-residential area – with no casualties or fire reported.

In the Desnianskyi district, debris from a downed UAV was discovered in an open area.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, a fire occurred in a non-residential area.

In the Dniprovskyi district, significant damage was reported at a gas station. Rescue teams are on-site.

Reportedly: "Additionally, debris has been recorded in various locations in the Dniprovskyi and Holosiivskyi districts. Information has also come in regarding damage to the metro tracks between the Darnytsia and Livoberezhna stations.

Currently, four individuals have been reported injured: three men and one woman. Two are hospitalized. Medical assistance has been provided to two others on-site.

Information is still coming in. All services are working at the sites of the reported damage and are processing reports of debris from downed enemy targets."

Updated: As of 6:00 AM, "one person has died as a result of the enemy's attack. According to the latest data from medical personnel, 20 people have been injured. 16 of them have been hospitalized," said Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

At 6:28 AM, Klitschko reported an increase in the death toll to four. "Search and rescue operations are ongoing at several locations," the mayor added.
