The Minister of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko, reported tragic losses among rescuers due to enemy shelling.
This night, the enemy targeted civilian and critical infrastructure with missiles and drones. Emergency services, including the State Emergency Service (SES) and police, responded to all calls for help. Unfortunately, we have once again suffered losses within the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In Kyiv, three SES rescuers lost their lives while dealing with the aftermath of enemy strikes. They worked under fire to assist those in need. Additionally, nine emergency workers were injured, some in critical condition, with doctors fighting for their lives.
Moreover, five rescuers were injured while extinguishing a fire inthe Ternopil region. All victims are receiving necessary medical care.
We honor the memory of our fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the sake of saving others. Their bravery and dedication will not be forgotten.
