Tragic Incident at Shooting Range: 6 Soldiers Killed

Six soldiers lost their lives and more than ten sustained injuries due to a missile strike that occurred at a shooting range in the Sumy region on May 20.

According to the NGU: "During training at the military unit's shooting range, six soldiers were killed and over ten were injured".

Details: A service investigation is being conducted regarding the incident.

The commander of the military unit has been suspended, and all necessary information has been submitted to law enforcement agencies.

The NGU assures that it will provide all necessary "information and support".

"The command of the NGU and law enforcement will conduct a thorough legal evaluation of the actions of all officials based on the findings of the investigation into the tragic event that occurred on May 20 as a result of a missile strike in the Sumy region," the statement reads.

Earlier, Russian propaganda agency TASS reported that Russians struck a training camp for Ukrainian soldiers in the Sumy region with an "Iskander" missile.
