Night Assault on Kharkiv: Casualties and Damage
On the night of May 6, Kharkiv faced a massive assault from Russian occupying forces using strike drones. Over the course of two hours, 20 hits were recorded across different areas of the city, leading to four reported injuries.

Direct quote: "For two hours, Kharkiv was under intense bombardment from enemy drones. During this time, we recorded 17 hits on the city. The strikes affected four districts: Shevchenkivskyi, Kyivskyi, Holodnohirskiy, and Industrial. As of now, we know about two injured individuals."
Details: According to the mayor, one of the strikes caused a fire at one of the largest markets in the Kyiv district of the city.
Head of the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, Dmytro Yatsichenko, reported hits on a private enterprise, a shopping center, and residential homes.
Later, Terekhov confirmed that, based on updated information, Kharkiv had suffered 20 strikes from Shahed drones across four districts at eight locations.
Updated: At 06:47, the head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleg Synehubov, stated that the number of injured had risen to four.
"A 59-year-old and a 44-year-old man also experienced acute stress reactions," Synehubov added.
Added: After 7 AM, the regional prosecutor's office released a video showing the aftermath of the massive bombardment of Kharkiv.
