Combat Actions Overview for April 20

On April 20, there were 96 combat encounters on the front, with the aggressor launching nearly 40 attacks in the Pokrovsk direction and conducting 1882 shellings of defense positions and settlements.

According to updated information, a total of 96 combat encounters were recorded yesterday. The enemy carried out 1882 shellings of Ukrainian positions and settlements, including 33 from multiple launch rocket systems, and employed 957 kamikaze drones.
In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy attempted to breach the defensive lines near the settlement of Krasne Pershe.
In the Kupiansk direction, there was an attack by invaders in the area of Holubivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 12 times, trying to infiltrate our defenses near the settlements of Nadiya, Myrne, Hrekivka, Katerynivka, Nova, and Yampolivka.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy made three attempts to advance near Bilohorivka and Ivanodarivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked five times around Chasiv Yar and towards Stupochky and Bila Hora.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy launched 10 attacks near Druzhba, Toretsk, and Leonidivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders halted 39 assaults by the aggressor in the areas of Sukhobalka, Myrolyubivka, Yelyzavetyivka, Lysivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novooleksandrivka, Uspenivka, Preobrazhenka, Andriivka, and Rozliv.
In the Novopavlivsk direction, the enemy carried out five attacks in the area of Kostiantynopil, Skudne, and towards Odradne.
In the Orikhiv direction, occupation forces attempted to advance on our defenders' positions four times in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Malyi Shcherbaky, and Stepove.
In the Huliaipole and Dniprovsk directions, no combat encounters occurred yesterday.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no signs of enemy offensive group formation were detected.
In the Kursk region, the enemy carried out 184 shellings during the past day, 17 of which were from MLRS. Ukrainian defenders halted 16 assaults by the invaders.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are inflicting significant losses on the occupying forces in personnel and equipment, actively undermining the enemy's offensive potential.
